ROLLING THUNDER IS IN THE BOOKS

Yesterday was the 4th annual rolling thunder cyclocross race. One of the biggest bike races in the state of Montana. Leading up to the race I was planning on racing in the mens 1/2/3 race which was going to be held under the lights with a rowdy crowd cheering us on. During race registration a friend asked what category I was racing in. I told him the 1/2/3 race, and he said have you upgraded on the usacyling web site yet,I explained no. Long story short (not really) I ended up racing the mens 4 race. I had a strong race with a great start opening up a decent gap between myself and 2nd and 3rd place. As each lap went by, 2nd and 3rd place kept on gaining on me. Before I realized I was getting passed by a guy on a mountain bike riding for Fitzgerald Bicycle's. Wasnt to thrilled to be looking at a rider pass me wearing my last name on his shirt. It almost felt kind of insulting. Anyways, the race in my opinion was a success. I raced hard, and had a blast on one of the greatest days of the year.

Rolling thunder Cyclocross Race is this Sat. here in Missoula,MT. I'm going to be racing the men 1/2/3 race under the lights at 7:00p. There are some fast riders showing up including some pros,should be quickkk! Yee haww!!
